My dad's a member here also and got me interested in the Kershaw forum and knives.

Actually he's my son and is the one that helped influence me in several of my recent purchases of Kershaw knives.:)

Hey, he'll be 19 in a couple of days, and usually reads this forum on my log in.

Time for him to do his own bidding, he's a big boy and likes big boy toys like the rest of us.:D

BTW, he has more knives than I do (of other brands), currently he only has three Kershaw's but that will change soon.

He probably influenced me more to Kershaw than me to him.

And I have spoken to Thomas on the phone a few times and made references to my son and his like of Kershaw as well.;)

I really am interested in Kershaw and wanted to win one after seeing all of the contests, especially when I can't afford the high dollar knives.

But I'm not worried, Thomas isn't fooled easily. If someone creates a new user name just for this contest, he'll know.

Yes nygiantsfan3342, don't worry he's a college student living and working here, and has his own computers and usually using my WAP to connect.

Don't worry he does exist, and is a Jr. so yes there's actually two of us with the same name and same interest in knives.

If he wants knives now, he has to buy them himself or as he has been seeing here.....win one. So that's why I encouarged him to join, I thought it would be kind of cool to have him here with me.

I don't think that is unfair or unreasonable.....do you ?
 
This is hilarious. First, my wife makes fun of me for buying an expensive "pocket knife" and now she joins the forum? Is this what happens when your worlds collide? I can't even talk about macho things like knives without her !! Oh well, I guess if she gets into this then she will give me license to buy more Kershaws.
Thomas- are there rules against husband/wife as long as she has her own email address? If there are then I will not/she will not post our guesses on the same contests. I actually think it's pretty cool that she admires the craftmanship of knife making.
