SG2 Blur Still Needs a New Home!!

Studebaker?

I think my favorite steel right now is VG10 or D2... Depends on the circumstances..

Travis

Maybe he got a nice old Cadillac with tail fins and room for 5 in the trunk. :)

VG10 at the moment

Oh hell yes we got's ourselves a winner.

Hamon with a guess of Studebaker win's the Blur. I'll let Tim spill all the details.

Way to go Travis. PM me your info.

congrats!

so Thomas. your not going to be having anymore contests any time soon i guess? you could wait till we all got smarter, but you would be dead by then along with the rest of us ;)

Don't worry he does exist, and is a Jr. so yes there's actually two of us with the same name and same interest in knives.
So that's why I encouarged him to join, I thought it would be kind of cool to have him here with me.
I don't think that is unfair or unreasonable.....do you ?

Absolutely fair. I was really kidding with you. My son is four, and already shows interest in my knives; I look forward to sharing like you are. My comment was directed at another.

Thomas- are there rules against husband/wife as long as she has her own email address? If there are then I will not/she will not post our guesses on the same contests.

I think its unfair to those who only get one guess. I prefer one guess per household in the future, but Thomas is the generous donator and they are his rules to set. I am just being Mr. Sour Grapes. Thomas didn't specify any conditions, so anything goes. I think he just wanted to get the game over with and get rid of the darn Blur already! :)

This is hilarious. First, my wife makes fun of me for buying an expensive "pocket knife" and now she joins the forum? Is this what happens when your worlds collide? I can't even talk about macho things like knives without her !! Oh well, I guess if she gets into this then she will give me license to buy more Kershaws.

If your wife had won the knife and not you, I would hope that it would be hers and not yours, after all that would only be fair. You are two seperate intelligent persons...right ?

This sounds like a reasonable answer to your question since you both are registered users on this forum. I can't answer for Thomas, but I suspect he would agree.

So I think we can put this to rest now before things turn.....agreed ? Thanks for your cooperation.

I hope this forum can stay friendly and inviting, the way it started out and not go the way of so many other well intentioned forums that have passed.

BTW, congrats to Hamon on the new knife I hope you enjoy it.:)

Thomas, I shot you an email. We'll see if it worms its way through over to ya. If not, let me know!

Travis

Thomas,

Thanks for the cool contest.

Congrats to Hamon/Travis.

Studebaker? >_> What is that?

*Googles*

Interesting designs, I'm surprised I have never heard of them.

Congratulations Hamon, enjoy your new knife!

Didn't know I would create such HEAT. Thought it was cool my wife liked the forums, but I will stay away (and ask her to do the same) if a knife giveaway stirs such controversy. I wouldn't put our ethics in question over a knife. We enjoyed learning about knives and playing the games, but since I am a Philadelphia Eagle it is only natural for fans of other NFC teams to cry foul. But hey, we booed Santa Claus- so I kinda understand the mentality. I am still a Kershaw fan and apologize if anyone felt we had an unfair advantage- but a husband that has a wife that is into the same things he is gets more; knives that is !!!

Studebaker, Tim , I would have never guessed that , I was thinking Trimph or MG maybe, certainly not practical like a studebaker. HMMMM "Junk Yard Dog" and "Needs Work" a Revelation of sorts !!

i dont see the problem. if it isnt stated in the rules, then oh well.

as for the mentality, i kinda understand. im a Bengals fan. needless to say, steelers fan's get alot of crap from me :D and vise versa . i say enter as many as you can. im in 3 other contests right now to see if i can win more knives! already won one!

No hard feelings. No heat created since I was only voicing my opinion that: If your wife had won, it would have been BOTH of yours. Why should a single person only get one guess if you get two? Perhaps if your wife had joined a few months ago and not the day of the contest, I wouldn't have cared. Its a moot point anyway, neither of us won. Like I said in my last post, I just wanted a cool knife-same as you.

Please don't leave because of my big mouth, I just wanted to express my feelings on the subject. As I said before, it's Thomas's call in the end, since he is giving away the knife after all.

Great guess Hamon!
Congratulations!
Hope there aren't any customs issues getting the knife to you.

Basspro and Carman congratulations to you too, I think its great that your family members are getting into the forums too, the more the merrier. The whole point of the forums is after all to generate interest and spread information about knives.
