Shaman sprint run?

Both sound great. I have plenty of CF Spyderco. Not aware of any micarta options, so that would be my vote just for uniqueness. And I like micarta.

Keeping this thread current might be a good idea for us to come to posses the Micarta /Cruwear sprint or exclusive. If it becomes a reality, the flippers will drive the price up, so we need also will need an exclusive to create more availability.

I have a regular Shaman, so have no need for another, but a Cruwear and micarta sprint will be *hard* to resist.

the Shaman’s geometry was meant for a tough steel like Cruwear and I’m already running Micarta scales on a Cruwear PM2, it’s a great combo that really lends itself to tougher tasks.

Sprint and an exclusive wanted!!
Can there be enough interest in the Shaman to carry an exclusive? Or can it compete on the levels of the Paramilitary 2 and Pm3 or say Manix2?
We are going to need probably 10-12 pages of these" I want one" post's for anyone to invest in an exclusive Shaman! I mean a Sprint run IS certainly a blessing from Sal, and a flipper's dream, but I really want Cruwear with micarta for my meager collection. And a second shot at these should help ensure the Spydie senses are tingling. Of course, seeing what Golden deems worthy of a Sprint will be fun, I hope for an interesting exclusive as well.

The Cruwear Micarta sounds like a great idea. On this side of the pond, we don’t really get accesss to sprint runs, and US knives are very pricy anyway*. With that in mind, I’m sure you will understand why I am excited that a regular Shaman will be arriving at my door tomorrow! D’you think I’ll like it?

It’s obviously in play for Golden made folders now, it’s US made (no tariffs), tough, premium quality etc.

I'd hope they use a g10/marbled cf laminate like they do with their peel ply CF to keep costs down. Two slabs of marbled cf that thick would be crazy expensive

I think in a Cru and Micarta combo it would sell great ...I've been on the fence about it but because of materials not the design ... so if yhethrow it our with micarta and cruwear I will jump on one of those ... even micarta and M4 Id buy quickly.

Well, just arrived home from work to a package containing my new, humble, non-sprint, DLC Shaman. Absolutely superb; beautiful design; flawless execution; a masterpiece from one of the giants of the industry. Thanks Sal.

I’ll be in the States next Summer. Maybe I’ll get lucky and time it with a Shaman Sprint Run. Just let me email Sal my vacation dates...

Another vote for cruwear and micarta. Not real hung up on color, but a satin blade would be nice. Any type of coating would be a dealbreaker for me.
