Congrats!! Obviously there are specialty knives for special purposes, but for an all-around EDC this this the best knife ever made. Period. Only a fool would contend otherwise. ;)
Spyderco has to be getting ready to release the Paramilitary 2 lightweight right......right? Do you hear me Spyderco?

New reveal lists the Z-Wear sprint as stonewashed... this one is going to be perfect if I can get my hands on one

The Manix is by far the greater value and better slicer. I think the shaman is tougher, like if Spyderco made an XM-18 that would be it... but you can get better steel with all the g10 and full steel liners you want for a lot less.
IMHO the s110v lightweight manix is the most underrated knife Spyderco produces.

the LW is surprisingly good and robust. The blade is perfectly centered, Spydie flip no problem.but it hasn't the solid feel of G10 Manix. For me, the full liner on G10 Manix is the main reason that I go to Manix.

I’ve heard that is coming, I think it was on their official forum it was mentioned some time ago.
I like both the Manix 2 regular weight and light weight versions. But the regular weight PM 2 is light enough for me.

I like the Manix 2 better because it's more comfortable in my hand. So I recommend that you try them in hand before deciding. The differences in handle shape are subtle but could affect comfort during use. If you want a blade with thick stock but find the Shaman uncomfortable, you might be able to find a Superleaf. The Manix 2, Manix 2 XL (not pictured), Superleaf, and contoured Halpern Mule Team handle are my favorites for hand comfort.

What kind of grips are those on your Manix 2?

I have a couple of each, I prefer the Shaman, for a couple reasons: the compression lock, 3D handle scales over flat scales, slightly larger size overall.
