I found one.

I'm surprised this topic doesn't come up more in here, or maybe it does and I just haven't seen it yet. There are so many copies of so many good blades it's ridiculous. that being said they really don't bother me, I don't think they're fooling any one.

That's my point though, if your buying them you

1.have no clue(which means you likely won't be spending what the tall ones cost any time soon or ever)
2.you're fully aware of what they are and just want a cool looking blade for cheap and still would most likely never purchase a real one or
3. You wanna spend a little to try out a certain pattern, size, style etc. Before making the jump.

If you're in number 3, it's likely the copy will only make you long for the reall thing even more only you'll have a better idea of which pattern, size, style etc.
I know that is the case from experience. I got my hands on a couple sebenza clones, one small one large, and now I EDC large 21 all the time. Basically the way I see it neither of those scenarios are taking anything away from the maker. I know that's not a popular stance to take but it's one I firmly believe.

I'm not buying it at this time, but as odd as it sounds I do snatch up nock offs now and then. Some are even decent. Busse nock offs are new to me though. If it go's under $20.00 with shipping I may try one out.

When I first saw them pop up on auction site, they did make me click.... Then I laughed.

I think it's a neat topic, seems very polarizing. Honestly for the price it's amazing the quality of materials and fit and finish they've been putting out. Most of the big budget companies are producing from China anyway.

I wouldn't buy it if was for sale for $2 <all in>...purchasing knock-offs enables these losers and just perpetuates the cycle...

For the love all that's HOG look at what Spyderco is having to deal with...

The knock off artists have gotten so widespread they are seriously diluting the sales/confidence of that brand...:thumbdn:

Take a look at their knock-off thread here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/796442-Spyderco-Fakes-amp-Knock-Offs-Info

A lot of those fakes are clownish and crafted by rank hack artists, but the PM2 clones are a serious threat not only to Sal Glesser & Co. , but to their ELU's & the secondary market buyers...

It is best not to feed the counterfeiters lest they get embedded like the blood sucking parasites that they are...

However OTOH, my inner piglet would squeal in delight seeing a vid of a TOP HOG hacking that clone in half with a real Steel Heart!

Ya I saw a cheap Team Gemini copy called the " Daryl redneck knife"... or something like that..

It certainly looks like it has a copy of the Busse logo (albeit faint) on the blade.

funny thing is that you could have bought a trash1 for double the amount that POS went for, lol

How does buying a copy, fake, counterfeit give you the feeling of the real thing? Please do not patronize counterfeit producers.

I'll assume that was aimed at my remark. I'm not patronizing, I don't by any means support counterfeiting or profiting off of somebody else's ideas. I'm just saying it how I see it. I can't understand a scenario in which a "clone" is taking money out of the maker's pocket. At this point in the game the clones are very very good, but if you're willing in the first place to spend the kind of money that the originals cost then you'd better know what you're buying and why, if you understand that I'm pretty sure you won't be tricked into thinking you can pick up the real thing somehow for a fraction of the price straight from Hong Kong. If you don't understand all of this you're either not going to be purchasing an original anyway or you're in over you're head and spending too much money on something you don't know enough about. As for a person buying one of these clones and paying it off as a real one, well..... Then they will get what's coming to them and should but I just see allot of that happening. Maybe I'm naive but I but and sell allot of knives and don't hear about it.
