I go out of my way to help people out, and I am usually a pretty good judge of character..... I really blew it on these two guys.

First Jeff Robinson, Paid after 25 days of emails and phone calls. He said I am annoying:)
jbr1074@gmail.com, and jbr1074@hotmail.com and his BF name is jbr1074
emails me for a sheath, I promptly send it to his listed paypal address, he contacts me and says he did not receive it, the PO system in his town is terrible and he is leaving for a hunting trip on Tues. I comply with all of his requests, including speaking to the PO in his town, He refuses to use USPS and asks me to use UPS, to send a replacement sheath that he HAS TO HAVE for his hunting trip

.......So I dropped everything I was doing, made him another sheath and sent my wife down to UPS to mail the package $18.05, he repeadetly said he would not screw me on the shipping cost. Come to find out, the address is his rental and it did get delivered there.

He says he will check into it and be sure to get me paid for BOTH sheaths and the shipping cost. $63.05
NO WORD, I put him on blast last week, he called me back, he said he would pay....now he won't even answer his phone or return an email. To make it even worse in reviewing his emails, he specifically states, he has TWO BK7's and if "the price is right" he may order two sheaths from me......... GUESS THE PRICE WAS RIGHT....

I googled earth his address, looks like he is not hurting...

Fellow Beckerheads, watch out, this guy has TWO of my BK7 sheaths, pancake style with extra rivets.....

Lightning 75 is his BF name.
He asked me in a paypal note to deliver it to his place of business at City of Glendale CA, I'm sure it is a big building, he should have checked the mailroom before reversing my payment.
He pays in form of a GIFT and I did not catch it. (no verified address) Anyways I send it exactly where he asks me to, it is delivered there, and he calls the cc company and reverses the payment.... He ordered a Rodent Solution sheath with tek lok ($44)

Friends in the Swamp, beware of this guy, he will pay and then reverse the payment after he receives what he ordered.

Fellow forumites, beware of trades or sales with these guys, they DO NOT belong on BladeForums.

In turn, I will no longer be accepting UNVERIFIED paypal payments. If your paypal is not verified, you will need to send a Money order.
ALSO, I will not ship before I receive a payment. lesson learned, hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Any way to get the cc charge re-authorized by filing a claim?

When someone makes a claim for cc chargeback, the cc company conducts an investigation, including contacting the recipient to hear their side of the story. If you can show proof of delivery, they will re-authorize your money and deduct from the card-holder. Don't know how that works if done through Paypal though.

Seeing thieves taking advantage of an honorable person really pisses me off.
 
Scum like this dont even deserve to have knives, they should be reduced to using a popsicle stick.
 
Jeff Robinson is now emailing me saying "he will pay by Fri/Sat" It has been 3 weeks and he does acknowledge the debt. He is now disputing the shipping costs through UPS, that he specifically asked for. It was $18.xx vs the USPS $3.xx, but he HAD to have this package before his hunting trip.

Funny, he can get to a computer to email me but he can't go on paypal and pay me. (that's how he paid before)

Jeff is full of empty promises and plenty of drama in his life keeps him busy enough to receive and too busy to pay for what he receives.

He said he liked the sheaths though.
 
He sure sounds like a beauty!! I have worked with Al a few times and he is fantastic to work with and his sheaths are second to none.
Al, I hope you can get everything settled with these 2 Jokers!!
 
Mark of a man is how well he lives up to his debts (financial and otherwise) and word...!!!!! I have screwed up and missed payment on a deal ONCE and I bent over backwards to get the $$s to the guy (who was not as concerned about it as I was). Makes it hard to trust new customers I would imagine mate. I was pleasantly surprised when a couple of other forum members here shipped me knives (all told probably $400US worth) BEFORE I could make the payments (which went to them the moment they let me know the totals I owed) !!!

Amazing....I live in the SAME town, about 4.8 miles from this fella and use the SAME PO and it has been great for the last 3 years I have used it.

Watch out for Jeff Robinson, he acts really nice, but never delivers. He has So many excuses:thumbdn: and blames every one but himself.

"Now" he says he didn't like my sheaths:rolleyes: This guy has at least 2 personalities. He didn't like my sheaths but he is keeping them;)

I think he is mad that he doesn't have the money to pay for them, and wants to start trouble with me for asking for the money. I have met other folks like this, they try to make you feel bad for asking for what is yours:thumbdn:

He says he wont order from me again:confused:..... I already said No more sheaths for Jeff Robinson:barf: His last name may explain it Rob in son.

What a loser.....





The other guy Shant.... he emailed repeatedly until the sheath arrived. Then nothing for a week, then the reversal on the CC.
I knew he received it when he did the reversal...usually people that want a sheath, still want a sheath even if it was lost.
They email and ask where it is and ask for another, not reverse the payment. Plus the tracking says he received it;)

He works for the City of Glendale CA "neighborhood services".....and he is a THEIF. What does he do there....take advantage of his position for the City, and steals from people.:thumbdn::mad:

When I talked to him on the phone, he said he had the knife, but not the sheath. Now he doesn't have the knife either:confused: Theif
 
I emailed Shant a link to this thread, and let him know I will be calling the USPS Postal inspector, and possibly the Glendale police.

Sounds like a polished scammer to me, a real beauty of one!!!

Honest people never seem to have problems paying and when an honest person says payment is on the way or I will pay Friday, THEY DO!!!
