I've buried a lot of animals over the years.....multiple dawgs and cats. the only good thing in their passing is the opportunity to give another animal a good home.

So it’s been a couple of months now without the pitter-patter of doggie paws on the floor. My wife finally came to our senses and put a deposit down on a golden retriever pup. The litter was just born the day before Thanksgiving, so they can’t go to their new homes until January 20th. Don’t know which one it will be, but we should have our pick of three remaining males out of this bunch, or one of the other four not in the picture. It’s been a while since we had a pup, and we’ve never gotten one this young, but I do recall the first few weeks will be a bit insane, and then the first few years will probably go through more shoes than usual. Hopefully the house is still standing when he’s past the terrible 2’s.
