yep on mosquitos.....theyre the AH-64E Apache Guardian of mosquito killers. while down here florida bats are like the f22 raptor.

I went to pick up some longhorn beef and unbeknownst to me ... the farm has postponed selling meats for the rest of the year. I guess I'll have to settle for the Beefalo farm meats (beef cow studded by a bison bull) this year or hit the air force base commissary for pre-packed bison.

Longhorn, bison, buffalo and beefalo are much leaner and better for you than store bought meats.

Since I won't get to eat any of youin 2026 I'll consider you animal friends.

Thank you for the lead! I am pretty sure that is where our favorite steak joint (The Paragon Supper Club) gets their bison ribeyes.

This is literally the first time this has ever happened in the eight years I’ve had my Smokey buddy. I got home from the shop, he came to the door as always wanting dinner, I started to get it for him with him at my heels, as always, but when I turned from the sink back around to go put the food and a bit of water in his bowl he was nowhere to be seen. I called him three times and nothing.

So I went looking and he was in the litter box having a pee!

I’ve never seen him walk away from imminent dinner before. I think when I turned the faucet on it reminded him he needed to go!
