Share your love of Traditional Folders with a Single Spring and Two Blades!

Alan, I appreciate that. I will post my second Stag Clerk at the end of these quotes and you might just change your mind!!! :D:thumbsup:

examples. This is my 2nd #13 Clerk in Sambar Stag. I have posted it in other threads, but this is the debut here in this thread. The pile side is nice, but the mark side is super, IMHO!! :D

I think Alan will change his mind Ron That is as good as it gets!

You could be right Ron. Great stag on the second one but better color on the first. How's my diplomacy?

I thought I would bring this thread back to page 1 with my newest Single Spring and Two Blades! I bought this one from the exchange this week. It is a #66 Slim with Cocobolo handles. Maybe someone else has a few to add to the thread! ;)

So I am looking at a Case Copperlock as my first two blade single spring knife. I wish it was a bit larger. Closer to 3 1/2 rather than 3 1/8 inches. I probably should have jumped on the Churchill when it last came around but I was more focused on single blade knives then.

Any suggestions on a readily available new single spring two blade knife today?

You're probably looking at a Case mini Copperhead, if it has 2 blades and is 3 1/8" closed. (The mini Copperlock is about 3 5/8", I think, and only one blade.) FWIW, I have a Wharncliffe/pen mini Copperhead that I think is a beautiful and useful knife, but it is not a big knife. Not nearly as small as a Peanut (the extra quarter inch makes a huge difference, I think), but still probably smaller than average.

Nice to see this thread revived, despite p-bucket's vandalism:rolleyes:

GT is correct on all fronts about the Mini-Copperhead, a very tidy carry. Here in Root-Beer Bone ( I tasted some US Root Beer for the 1st time last month, absolutely repulsive:poop::D but I've never much liked any soft drinks I stick to tea, coffee, water, wine, beer & spirits, that's plenty)

Yep, thanks for the correction on that 5K Qs. I have a few Copperlocks, in both sizes and just mixed the names in my post.

So maybe 3 1/8 is not so bad?

I love the looks of the Wharncliffe mini Copperhead, but am I the only one who finds that the Wharncliffe main blade makes a hot spot when using the pen blade? For a user I prefer the clip main - it doesn't stick up so far when closed and I don’t really feel it when using the pen blade. (I apologize for using this shot I’ve posted before but it illustrates my point.) I think Case still makes a couple of mini Copperheads with a clip main.
