Share your love of Traditional Folders with a Single Spring and Two Blades!

Glad to see this years forum knife up there too. The Schrade-Kious knife reminds me of the AG Russell-Buck collaboration, but I don't recall if it was single or not. AG also had a knife collectors club reverse half congress, but again don't recall the spring situation on that. Great thread, as I'm always looking for more good single spring 2blades. I hadn't realized the Queen muskrat was one, I've been considering an older modified muskrat for awhile, but thought it might be too bulky for what you'd get. Hmmm...way to many ideas for my wallet lately. :D
Thanks, Neal
PS-Jake needs to chime in, as I recall sstb's are one of his favorites (surveyors anyhow)

No one is showing off their Northwoods Presidential? I missed out on those with the added cost of shipping to Canada and the currency exchange. Still keeping my eye open for a used one here but most seem to specify CONUS shipping only. Sigh.

I do Ron, when they're made right ;) I particularly like the humble penknife, and I never encounter blade-rub with my Sheffield examples. I like Jacks even more though! :D Thank you my friend, though I'm afraid I don't have photos of all my knives :)

Wow. Just... wow. Amazing knives, all of 'em.

I like the ring turn one with the reminder on the tang to oil the joints. :-D The blue/black pinstripe one is snazzy! And, because sometimes I have the brain of a 12 year old girl, my eyes were drawn to the green Vic with the horsie on it. :p

A lot of my Henckels are this style, but I'll start with these two since I don't think I've posted them here before, and because I just snapped a photo of them the other day so it's near the top of my photobucket album and easy to find.

Thank you very much. The other blade on the Vic is for opening the backs of wrist and pocket watches :) Nice Henckels

Question about single spring knives with two blades. I have my Grandfather's old knife and the small blade still has good snap while the main blade has very little. Is this just wear to the main blade and a product of being old and having had a lot of use? Can the snap be brought back? It's been thoroughly cleaned.

This one is another of my recent additions. It amazes me how effortlessly a 4-1/8" folder can slip into the pocket when it is this sleek and slim! With that big ole clip blade and those silky smooth cam tangs this pattern has become one of my favorites. I have a couple more different examples of this pattern that I have never photographed, YET! This is a Northfield TK Cuban in Natural Stag.

Ron I've long been Dreaming of this Cuban.:D;) I wasn't sure about it at first, fearing the bulk would be too much for my pocket.I rarely like anything over 3.75" for non coat carry so it's good to hear it carries meekly:) Do you have others? There was a Tidioute in Mustard Bone that looked worthwhile, but that Stag of yours, just amazing.

Regards, Will

Thank you Christian. Will would probably be interested in seeing a closer pick of your Winchester there. I had mentioned to him that they made a Black Box version of the Norfolk. Much like the Northwoods.
