Share your love of Traditional Folders with a Single Spring and Two Blades!

Ron I've long been Dreaming of this Cuban.:D;) I wasn't sure about it at first, fearing the bulk would be too much for my pocket.I rarely like anything over 3.75" for non coat carry so it's good to hear it carries meekly:) Do you have others? There was a Tidioute in Mustard Bone that looked worthwhile, but that Stag of yours, just amazing.

Regards, Will

Will, I have the Tidioute in Mustard Bone, it is a beautiful knife. I also am fortunate to have a Northfield in Cocobolo, it is also quite nice. Unfortunately I have no photos yet. I will correct that just as soon as I get an opportunity! :)

I am surprised that I get to be the first to post this example, because I know others here share my love. This is without a doubt the stoutest of the bunch. This #79 Tidioute Workhorse Whittler is rock solid. The big ole spear and the coping secondary make it a versatile folder.

Ron, here's its Northfield cousin...

It's about time I added a single spring knife to this thread, being as how I love this pocketable design, and, most executions of it!!
There are some real beauties posted here, so I hope this one measures up!
It's a Case XX 62052.
The Case XX period, generally believed to be 1940 to 1964, produced some nicely constructed and elegant knives!

Slim, sturdy, and well finished, I love this admitted safe queen!

It looks like this 33 American Elk Conductor is my only knife that qualifies.

A beauty Alan. I like those and have been looking for one. Did you take the bale off?

It is unused, Alan - just some blade rub - But I am not going to send it back to Case!!:D

Boy, the nice knives just keep on coming!

Charlie CASE Half Congress is a treasure, hard enough to find a used one!

This contemporary is quite rare too. GEC White Owl stainless from the Cyclop's Works, Light Tan Bone, one of five made.

Stunning. Beautiful.

Wow! Such wonderful knives by everyone!

This one is another built on the 38 frame from Great Eastern Cutlery. Willamette Whittler in Cocobolo! :D

Ron, the curves on the Willametta Whittler are attractive and this one looks especially sweet clothed in that uniquely colored cocobolo. Very nice, thanks for sharing it. -James

There's an awful lot of elegant knives pictured in this thread. I was surprised at how many I own; these two Case Knives are my favorites and get carried when I wear dress slacks - love the flatness of the single spring. OH

Jack-loved the "Dominant" model! Any more info about it, of interest? And everyone, just fantastic photos and examples of great slim knives. Jack , just the ones you have photos of are incredible. How many more remain undocumented?

Thanks for noticing that one Neal. It is the only one of its kind I've ever seen, and I'm afraid I've been unable to find out anything more about it :( Thank you very much, I probably have a few dozen more :o

Beautiful Gev
