It's not a Dwight Divine, but it is a dandy Ulster USA 580T. Smooth bone, milled liners and springs.

Ulster sure did put out some fine knives!! Thanks to everyone for the viewing pleasure.

There are some really beautiful knives in this thread! These photos are definitely giving me the urge to search around for old Ulsters.

Great photos everyone!

I took this scan for a discussion about the various bone jigging that is seen on old Ulsters. I don't recall that we came to any earth shattering conclusions, except that to today's eyes, it is quite beautiful!

Charlie, the bone on the equal end is similar to some of the newer stuff by GEC which has a more random jigging. Very nice!

That's the "old school" look all right, Jeff!
GEC's tries at it have been pretty good, I'd say.

A pair of jacks 3 1/16" closed. Bone handle has steel liners and bolsters etched WARRANTED TRADE MARK. Pearl handle has brass liners and nickle silver bolsters etched GOLD COIN.

1fartsmella ...Good to see you posting again!

Anyone have any idea of the date range for the tang stamp ( as on your old coin and Charlies knives above)

Ulster
Knife Co.
N.Y.

The others I have are

Ulster
Knife
Co.

Oh my lordy!... Fantastic knives f/smella, just beautiful, thank you for sharing those lovely knives! The Bone on the Jack looks so much like the old Robeson Bone...just gorgeous!

Gevonovich, when I was trying to date my Jack with the tang stamp:

Ulster
Knife Co
N. Y.

The only thing I could find was the stamp was used from 1876-1941, but could not verify ?
