Sharp Busse Knife Tips

Maybe Busse's should come with instructions: Keep pointy and sharp parts away from body. Cut away from body. Sharpen away from body. Pay attention when sheathing/unsheathing. If dropped, do not attempt to catch.

OR you just bought a knife that cost hundreds of dollars, don't carry it in a cardboard slip within your pocket if you value your balls....spring for some kydex/leather and play it safe :D :p :D :p :)

I am new.... but have learned not to second guess what you have scored into your cart!
It's the one you threw back that you will want the most later....

If you look like grampa you are surely to become a meat sandwich for the Busse shop girls.

Come on! I know the beard makes me look older but grampa?

When you spend all your spare time messing around with razor sharp steel how can you help it?

Somehow I manage not to. I guess I'm just really careful. I AM pretty much known as a bull in a china shop by all my friends and family.....I'm actually surprised I've not had any mishaps in so long. I probably just jinxed myself by laughing at you guys :D

oh yah and the most important tip of all .....

If a fellow hog is holding and getting ready to buy a private sellers INFI at blade go directly to the private seller and give him a wad of cash for the kife, so that the seller goes and rips said knife right out of the hands of the other Hog as the Hog gets that Dumbfounded look on his face. - priceless

Ahh, fond memories.....

No regrets....;)

Man, I wish I had pics/video of that look....:p

It is shocking that no one posted this one yet; kind of shows that all the Hogs and Piglets can be a bit stingy with information. But I’m not that kind of guy.

- A Busse CAN take a sledgehammer for battoning
- A Busse stropped on leather will get a more polished edge, not great for cutting but AWSOME for chopping
- Micarta is HARDCORE
- INFI is HARDCORE
- You can strop with a ceramic rod but make sure you strop AWAY from the edge of the blade, like your supposed to do!
- Superman cannot bend the tip of a FBM
- A wire toothbrush will get the coating out from a corrugated blade

Maybe off-topic, but show up to BCS offerings early; and stay late.

I'm not even that skilled and I somehow always have scored with diligence. I've scored on sold out BCS offerings at midnight before.

Someone said don't second guess what's in your cart? Brilliant. I've regretted every toss-back I've ever made. I'm now looking for a Blk/Blk Mag FFBM, and I had one in my cart last week. (just making a point, not a plug)

When out in the bush without a steel, working, and your Busse begins to dull. Steel it on plain (non rusted) fencing wire. :P
