Sharpened your Hinderer? Let's see the edge...

Rubi with an edge like that the local hospital may want to contract with you for scalpel sharpening services.

All this edge talk reminded me of some Eminem lyrics in one of his tune's that goes "I walked into a gunfight with a knife to kill you, And cut you so fast when your blood spilled it was still blue..."

I may want to barter services for services when this thing removes one of my body parts. It came to me Sharp. I used it.
As fast as the Ranch is, I like it in my pocket so.... I loaded it into the WEPS and kept it like Rick did it (about 22* a side for the Wharnie)
Holy crap did did this knife reclaim its edge
Mant Eastern civilizations (and Native American) have words that relay like 15 levels of a certain state of being - I wish we had 15 levels of Sharp because "Sharp" doesn't quite cut it ;)
Love the knife (Love ALL my Hinderer's)

Had it about two weeks and had to make the edge hair poppin for my taste. Also just got the lansky system and read mixed reviews so worked over an izula and few spydies first with insane results. So take the plunge I did and with my OCD the results were awesome! and for repeat ability with this system this is how I keep track of clamp settings...

I have experienced very few sharper edges than this one. I would put it in the top three (3) ever.

Yeah I will be putting an edge like that on my wharnie soon. I like to think the straight edge will be simpler to put a consistent edge from front to back. We will see in practice :)

Gonna take my new Wicked Edge system to my XM next week. Likely start in the 400 and try to bring my slicer grind to mirror. Anyone offhand know the factory angle on the slicer?

I wish I had a camera that could show it (My S3 doesn't seem to wanna) but I paid KnifeKnut to sharpen my XM and the edge on that thing is ridiculous. I've seen mirrors with less of a polish, and the thing pushes paper like an accountant. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to put a good starter edge on a new blade.

Interesting, I always thought Rick did a pretty good job putting a "good starter edge" on them...

:)

Definitely recommend the WES. I did sharpen a spanto that I had but haven't touched the wharnie yet. I also like a somewhat toothy edge (or I should say not so polished). 1000 or so on those fat blades.
I'll add some pics when I touch it up
