Sharpener said my Spiderco Delica VG10 is cheap steel & hard to sharpen

Look at the pictures please, the G looks like a very badly done 8.
This makes no sense to me.

I'm not sure but it was mentioned earlier in the thread that that was an older batch that that happened too. I'm not sure of the legitimacy of that comment.

I mentioned that earlier in the thread. All of my 'older' Spydercos with VG-10 have that same stamp, including Delicas, Enduras, SS Police, SS Harpy, etc. A few (or several?) years ago, Spyderco changed the VG-10 stamp to clearer lettering.

Ok good to know so it was not just Delicas
But did you see the whole new post comment the steel does not seem that good or else maybe
one of the sharpeners messed something up bad, I just dont know
