Is not D2 very well liked by many knife people for it's wear resistance? Does vanadium and molybdenum not give D2 great wear resistance? I'm not comparing D2 to anything. Just a simple statement of fact that D2 knives exhibit great wear resistance!

D2 is fantastic. I've got a custom traditional in CPM D2 being made now. Never been so stoked for a knife. Gonna puy a DMT-F edge on. It's going to rock.
