Sharpening a TGLB with a Spyderco Tri-angle sharpmaker

I'm inclined to think that it is nowhere near as good for the knife's edge as Diamond Stones or Japanese Water Stones. I could be wrong though.
 
I did both my TGLB to 40 degrees inclusive on my Ken Onion worksharp with blade grinding attachment and it did fine. Takes a little time on the rough belt to finally turn up a bur but I just took my time using a sharpie to mark the edge.

ETA: Or you could send it to Josh at Razor Edge Knives, I believe he does re-profiling, he does good work, he cerakoted and choiled both my BK9 and they turned out great.
