sharpening systems used by Beckerheads???

I use a Harbor Freight 1x30 belt grinder with belts down to 9 microns from Lee Valley a mirrored convex edge, and then I strop with green compound and then plain leather. Works for blades of all sizes. If I want a standard V-grind, I'll back the secondary relief grind up with a coarse stone, and then use Lansky Crock Sticks to set the primary edge. Works great for that.

Sand paper on a large sanding block which has mouse pad type foam,
and grips to hold the paper. Then I go to leather strops mounted on wood.

I use my SharpMaker first, then finish off with some Green compound on a leather belt mounted to a piece of 2x4 secured with duct tape. Then I turn over my home made strop and finish the blades on naked leather.

I have this awesome stone my step dad gave me
