Sharpest Blades Right Out of the Box?

Surprisingly, to me anyway, my Blackbird SK5 was the sharpest knife I've ever taken out of a box. Screaming sharp! Next in line would be my Buck 110. Both of these were sharper than most customs I've gotten. Fortunately most of the knives I've purchased came sharp, but these two were exceptional.
 
The EDC's I have that came with the best edges were:

  • CRKT Carson M-16
  • Meyerco MFXRAY4
  • SOG SE-61
  • Pro-Tech CQC7 and LG205-DS
  • KOA Strikeforce
  • Kershaw Blur
  • ZT 0566CF

The sharpest fixed blades out of the box were:

  • LT Wright Genesis
  • Marttiini Condor Skinner
  • Mora Bushcraft Black
  • Knife Research Legion SC
  • Lionsteel M5 Hunter

By far the worst was anything I got from Habilis and Chris Caine. I wonder if either company employs somebody who knows how to work a belt sander.
