This can has probably been kicked around the block quit a few times but here goes again. Before joining this forum I was a slip joint and regular straight skinner kinda guy.

I had about 200-250 slipjoint and straight knives and no tact's.

I now have 5 kershaws and 3 Spydies.

I purchased a Kershaw leek and have been carrying it every day along with a Great Eastern Stockman in stag for several months.

I started working on the leek with several diamond stones and finished with a lansky cermanic rod set I got from New Grapham.

This Leek is scary scary sharp, I'm 66 and I have never had a knife this sharp.

What do you carry that is scary sharp.

My current project is a Kershaw Skyline. Just to pass the time I’ve been playing around with the edge seeing how thin I could get it and right now that knife is very, very, very sharp.

I now have 5 Queens with D2 steel and they all seem to sharpen up nicely on an open stone and a strop.

They stay that way, too.

Today I'm carrying a #64 bonestag canoe.

Today I finally started carrying my Spyderco Caly3 CF/ZDP after a year or so in the drawer. It's sharp.

All my Fallknivens that I EDC feature 3G blades, they get shaving sharp and hold the edge extremely well.

Current folders in the rotation. PXL, P/3G, U2, and FH9.

My new Boker Subcom folder is ridiculously sharp out of the box; truly impressive for a factory edge on a mass-produced, low-priced knife.

Is yours a 13C26 Leek, or a 440A? I just got a Leek last weekend, and it has 440A.

Anyway, my sharpest is my Delica 4 Wave. It won't treetop hair, but it will split hair.

I'd say my sharpest would be my opinel. I put a decent amount of work into it to get a hair splitting sharp. I don't carry it though. Right now out of my EDC knives the sharpest would most likely be my Kabar Dozier. AUS 8 run on the softer side makes it really easy to get an edge on. Took up it to UF spyderco ceramic so it shaves hair easily.

My easiest to get scary sharp is cold steel's vg-1, I carry a zdp shallot though and it seems to like having a slightly toothier edge as it seems to get too fine of an edge and not grab but still easily push cuts.

My CRKT Crawford/Kasper large non serrated that i reprofiled will split hairs, its so freakin sharp i like to stare at it.. sharper than my straight razor

My CS Caledonian is razor sharp. I mean it has a bite to the edge like no tomorrow. keepem sharp

All my knives are very sharp, I give almost all knives the same treatment. For me hair whittling sharp is the standard.
