I own about 40 knives or so, and am about 2 years in to collecting them.
They are from a variety of makers, including CRK, Benchmade, Spyderco, Cold Steel, Gerber, CRKT and others.
The sharpest one I've ever received from the factory by far is my Spyderco Ulize, which I have to be really careful with when wiping smudges off the blade off with a t-shirt, for instance, with as it will cut slices in them. I've ruined several that way.
Sharpest or "pointiest tip" I've ever experienced is between my Spyderco Civilian and my Cold Steel Tsunami. The Civilian might have an edge, but the Tsunami is scary to barely touch as well.
Which made me wonder, what is the sharpest knife you ever received new from the factory, a "factory edge?"
Which single knife seemed to arrive sharper to you, than any other, straight out of the box?
