Sharpest new knife you ever purchased?

MCusta Damascus Tactility Black Micarta.... Absolutely sharp as a straight razor!

My delica 4 ffg vg10 came real damn sharp like all spydercos but a little sharper then my other ones. But believe it or not my kershaw blur was the sharpest knife I've bought. I think maybe it can vary a bit knife to knife and maybe I just got lucky and mine came a bit sharper then normal. Scary sharp.

My Camillus Hustle and my Benchmade 890 were both scary sharp, I'm talking hair popping sharp, it was awesome. I'd say the Benchmade edged out the Camillus by a little though.

My sharpest knife was still the Ulize, but the record in my collection goes to a Benchmade serrated Contego.

It nipped the first three people to handle it; me, my father-in-law when he beratingly wondered out loud how in the heck I could ever cut myself on my own knife (he had to eat crow that day!) and then my buddy who said while smirking "let me see it" when I told him that story as I showed it to him the first time.

So that Contego was three for three!

I know this is meant for production blades, but I have to give credit to the dcl sheepsfoot I got from the custom exchange. It came from the maker ground so thin, and just so insanely sharp. The grind is so thin that with a few passes on the EP and it's back to beyond razor sharp. Awesome little knife . I also have a right hand chisel grind sheepsfoot from him, and it's the same way. The 3v and super thin grind, result in some of the sharpest edges I've ever handled.

Spyderco Stretch ZDP and surprisingly, Spyderco Pac Salt serrated... The scallops came able to whittle hair.
