So sharp from the factory it is scary! Huge scary edge bevels. Scary super pointy tip, and super sharp :eek:
Can you tell this one scared me a little? And yes, it nicked me a couple times :p

This one was the best shaving knife yet! Just as smooth as a 4 blade shaving razor, just infinitely scarier :D
Did I mention it was scary?



Check out the reflection on the huge edge bevel!!





 
Ran out of disposable razors...... so.........

Got out the 475 Mini Mentor and had a Buck Shave :D
Nice and smooth :)

My neighbors gave me this as a gift today, my very first imported from China Buck Knife.
A 371 with G-10 scales and 420J2 steel at Rc 53-55 hardness.

I have seen people talk bad about this steel.......
HOWEVER..... it shaved quite nicely :D









 
Thanks for posting the 371 Chris. Was at my local Walmart last weekend hoping to pick one up but they didn't have any. After seeing yours I will for sure keep checking around.

Check their website, search for "Buck Knife 371 G-10"
Then when you find it on there, you can use your zip code to see if any stores in your area have it in stock :)
I have used that feature a few times to find stuff in the past since we have 4 wallyworlds within a 20 minute drive, and they do not always have the same stuff on the shelves.....

That is half of the reason I keep adding to it, the other half is to show it is possible to shave with them :)
I wish you had some photos of that 1971 shaving! I was only 2 years old back then.
 
I hate shaving......

But......

Shaving with a Buck Knife makes it a little bit of fun :p

Buck 302 with yellow delrin scales. Was new in box a few days ago, but I have been using it to cut stuff.....
So it needed a touch up on the ceramic stone before shaving :)












Can you tell I don't enjoy shaving much?? :D
 
I usually wait more than 2 days before.shaving again, but my gal requested I shave for this evening's activities :o

So out comes the mirror polished 500 for a shaving test run :)









And the stubble is now gone :D
