It's safe to say I like SHBM's :p

I am not sure how much of a freak for them he is, but he use to be crazy about them. He has the wedding knife with wood handles right?

Congrats! Glad you could add to your awesome SHBM collection.

Thanks for the pics!

With large numbers going to individuals, and those individuals keeping the knives off of the market combined with a trend to fill in gaps in existing large collections add to the difficulty of people who want just one in order to have one of each of a particular times production.

All this serving to create a preceived shortage and a rise in value/pricing

Thank you, you are adding to the value of my knives.

Keep up the good work, I may need to Retire some day and sell off.

AND at least 2 SHBM's. I think he has 2 1/300's :D or maybe it's a 1/300 and a 1/6? I dunno....I just remember spending some time nosing through ALL the old SHBM threads and finding some people....he was one of them. That's how I found the D/C SHBM I have :D

 ;) You really can't get it out of your sysytem! I understand completely !
I wish I could...it's an addiction really :p I sold/traded many...no MOST of my other knives and Busse's to get them :D

No problem Andre......you know where to find me when you sell! :D Same thing with SHSH's....though I don't have any of those right now :o

Congrats on lucky number Sleven!!! Now please STOP, I BEG you... I just want ONE! LOL Seriously, nice snag. :D

My FREAK for early SHBMs is HUGE!!!!!
The force is strong within me............!!!!!!
I was able to snag a bunch up before the big price jump!!!!!!!
Bwahahahahahahaa!!!!!! :D
(disclaimer: I will not respond to requests to purchase / trade them!)

I FINALLY measured thicknesses, from left to right here they are:
.255/.275/.260/.270/.275/.265/.271 :D I've got all FATTIES :p

I do like that SHBM line up!!! Very Nice!

So... what's the fattest one you've heard of... both coated and satin???

.

I can't say the fattest I've heard of was any more than .275 like two of my coated blades: The one of 300 and the late model one to the right of the crinkle coated SHBM in the middle. The BBSHBMLE on the far right is .271 and is uncoated so I take it it would probably be about .275 if it were.

I bet Andre or Dennis will have something to say though...they've had more SHBM's than me by far :D:thumbup:

Paul, very nice family you have there!!!!! That has and will always be a favorite of mine!!! Take care, Scott

Hmmmm... that's interesting.

I think Andre will be off the boards for a bit while he moves... But I'm curious what Cobalt knows.

Thanks! :D

I seem to recall Cobalt saying the same sort of thing....he said they're not like the SHSH's where many were around .280+.......I believe he said if anything, you'll find some that are sub .250''! Though not by much I'd guess. Maybe .245-.250'' I wouldn't mind an anorexic SHBM :p that would be great! Especially a .200'' one with a 14'' blade. That would be AWESOME!!!
