Pardon the new guy question, but if I find an ASH1 kydex sheath from someone like Mashed Cat, should it fit these new models? I know the blade thickness varies. Also, the handles can vary.

I have zero Busse's currently... but I'm waiting on a SYKCO 511, 911, SR Rodent 6, and this SH in brown/tan. First choice was tanker and black canvas then re-thought it because all my knives are black... hope I can live with brown and tan.

hey if you want a g10 that aint listed (no blade alteration).. is that a full on custom shop situation??

...... yep me included (via the team proxy Magoo). The 'Weilers were listed for a short time, accidentally it seems, and some orders were placed before they were removed. The follow up was that should they proceed with them, the original orders/details etc would be honoured.

Mashed Cat makes some seriously nice sheaths. But why go the stock route for such a nice blade and worry if it will fit? I heard that guy over at Hale Storm does some pretty nice work on custom kydex; rounded, buffed, polished, and seamless edges, all American made products and parts, etc. I heard he even uses his Busse's. He has 100% positive feedback.I'm just sayin'.........

I just checked the specs again. Now it is .25" thick. Wasnt it .22" yesterday? I was drinking...so i could have misread it.

It was indeed! .225" thick to be exact...that's good! I REALLY wanted this ASH to be a full .333" thick but oh well...no regrets!! At this price point I couldn't NOT buy one! I bought this ASH-1 to be my first Busse user:) Can't wait to have it in some Mashed Cat pants and actually carry/use it:D Now bring on the Battle Grade Busse DSF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbup:
 
So can someone tell me what the thickness is? When I ordered yesterday it said .225 now it says .250.

I noticed the same thing. When I originally looked it was .225, and when I ordered it was .25.

My preference is .25 so I think that rocks, but I would also like to know for sure.
