I place an order on Sat 2/1 , shipped the same day, VA to NY. I was amazed that it showed as being at my post office Monday morning 2/3.
I was actually thinking of this thread..... see it's not that bad.
But instead of being marked as "out for delivery", my post office sent it back to the last post office it had moved from (retrograde).
Now it's in limbo. This happened once before, and I had to wait a week until they found the package and sent it back.
I guess they didn't want it to arrive early.
