Sorry we did go off the rails there. Sites like GPknives list their shipping as the "best method" which isn't to far off really. To ship from the US to Canada using Priority international small flat rate(very secure I find) its 19.95 then add a bit for extra insurance and a few dollars for profit and you are at the $26 they charge. I do agree places like Knifeart charging $35 for fedex is ridiculous as you can get just as much security from usps at $26 then you also run the risk of occurring extra fees on entry to Canada. The same knives in Canada after tax and shipping aren't all that different then buying from the US specially when nailed with customs and when shipping within Canada it only take a few days instead of a week so I consider the extra cost to be paying for a much speedier shipping time![]()
PS I would love one of your exclusive orange Strider PTs *wink*wink*nudge*nudge* when are they going to be in stock?
Hi Kyle,
After reading your emails and this thread we're looking into some less expensive options for our northern neighbors, however it may take us a week or two to actually get them implemented. We currently ship USPS Express International, which at the time was the only way to actually see that the package was delivered. We were unaware delivery confirmation was made available for other options earlier this year.
USPS raised rates for 2013, which is why our prices have jumped over last years pricing. In reality most of the larger dealers make very little if anything on our shipping rates, especially with our free shipping and first class options for US residents.
Took a little longer than expected, but we now offer USPS First Class shipping to Canada starting at $9.95.

Do you guys still take care of tightening the pivots and such...if so this is a killer option. Should have known before I ordered from another site. Better change bookmarks now!
