Shiv. Shiv. Shiv.

Nice Shiv! Dick Taylor makes some great dark chocolate and isn’t that far from you. I mean it would still need to be shipped. I’ve been to the place where they make it. They make some awesome drinking chocolate in the cooler months and handmade fudge pops in the warmer months. It’s worth checking out.
You know. I had forgotten about them. My wife had given me chocolate from them, a few times. It was good! Thank you for the reminder. I’ll check into them again. Mike

Definitely would be a fun trip up, to visit them.

Thanks again. Mike

This was my pre-order pair and the Shiv 2.0 is definitely a CPK pattern that most likely gives every single person that picks it up the same damn smile, I’ve never held an original version but I don’t think it would be excluded from this experience! What a fantastic balance with that much blade in front of your hand, the pics of the Shiv don’t adequately show how much material the grinds and fullers consumed, what a wild knife.

I don't know about this one, that Delta 3V engraving looks pretty light. Send it back.

I love the Shiv. It went from a "just for fun" order to becoming one of my very favorite CPKs. I can do just about anything I need to do that requires a blade and I don't need to be gentle with it. If I ever have to bug out and hit the road/woods/mountains/etc., it's the knife I am strapping to my kit. It makes me think of the long knives that I would read about as a boy, the ones tucked in the belts of frontiersmen, renegades, minute men, etc. The history, paired with boyhood novelty and modern manufacturing, makes it one hell of an appealing blade - to me, anyway.
