Sorry, gang, but I have to agree with PigletPlucker.... I just don't like this knife!
I know we aren't all expected to like every knife... OR are we???
Please, don't give me a hard time over this guys (and gals), it's just my 2-cents worth.
That said, two of these were recieved at our residence, and they are VERY sharp. Even a couple of the serations are VERY pointed... not sure I like that at all!
<< getting off my soap box now >>
Blessings Busse Family!
and dont forget the choil in an area meant for harsh cutting treatment where your applying pressure on the serrated edge:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
:barf:
it's essentially the same thing as the pt5 set. a couple of military guys thought they needed a set of attributes and ordered there knives to have them. jerry passed the design on in a limited fashion, and then moved on from it. some people absolutely love americanized tanto's, some people love serrations and recurves, some people love the slim neck knife style. others dislike all or some of the above. thus, a limited run.
I think this item with a slimmed down to fit cultellus blade (and preferably no choil) would be an excellent office type knife, something you could take anywhere because it is extremely pocketable. but it is what it isand with the new bear cub model, albeit 3 finger, you get something similar.
