Thought I would share some shop pictures for the guys who have never made it to one of my Gatherings.

Entrance. The K is from the screen door of the house I was raised in. I removed it from the door 12 years ago when my Dad passed away and we sold the house. I`m glad I did, the house burned down a few years ago.

My simple equipment.

I like old stuff!

More old tools and my furnace.

Anvil.

I don't remember seeing the "K" before. That's a great piece of family history!

Your shop is clean and organized. Thanks for sharing the pics where so many of my knives were born!

And yet with a minimal amount of equipment you make such wonderful knives, seein' your shop makes me realize I need to organize my shop and get back to makin' knives. Thanks for the pics and the inspiration. ;)

Thanks for the pics, John and for the links, Andy.

Pretty cool to go through them and reminisce. Also makes me crave another gathering.

Thanks for sharing pics of your shop. It looks like a cozy and comfortable place to do your work. And pics of retrievers on the wall always make it better.:D

bunch fo fun with friends and a table full of knives, what more could you ask for

John, if I can ever find a way to make it to one of these I would be willing to bring my propane forge and a couple of 60#-ish anvils so others could have a chance to hammer out something.
If you think that would be a decent idea.

That would be fun, but I'm not sure my neighbors would like a symphony of hammers on steel!

Great pics! If a couple of those pictures were in black & white we wouldnt know what era it was from.
