* Any new Toooj handle/"Heavy" series knives? Any being discontinued?
* Was there any mention made to dealers about the potential for a Brute, Patrol Machete, or Crewman rerelease?

Only new Toooj knife was the Combat Kukri. I will be expanding on that one more in the Kabar forum, as soon as I get a chance. None being discontinued, all are staying as of now.

Brute and Patrol Machete are slated for a 2013 release, so, one year away. Crewman is not scheduled to be brought back as far as I know. The limited editions were done for the Beckerheads, primarily. So far as I know, Kabar does not plan to release them.

When will the blades with the new laser etching and coating start becoming available? Is this March as well?

Everything but the new BKT's should start showing up soon. The new stuff won't hit dealer/distributor levels until March. New coated BKT's and laser etching on the existing blades should be running now, or shipping now, I suspect. They may wait until the older stock is used up, though, so don't hold me to that.

Are the laser etch and new coatings considered a new Gen? So it will be Gen 2 for the 5-7-9 and Gen 3 for the bk2?

The new Zombie folder is the Zombie Mule, according to the Catalog, and the new kitchen knives, are an ESEE exclusive, made over seas and badass.
Orc Smasher is know as the Chop Stick.
The new folders are called the Agama, Gila, Komodo, and Tegu.

That is what I am considering them. I think the database should reflect it as well, since we are looking at the next generation of BKT's to come out.

Parker, it was a pleasure. I remembered you, even without the hat reference. I'll tell you what, we met with the company that's gonna be making our hats soon, when we get some in, I'll swap you. :D

Oh sweet, Zombie Mule confirmed! I have been looking for an excuse to get a mule; nobody can deny me if they're now coming out with toxic green handles. I mean, c'mon Wife... toxic green handles! W00t!

Thats the first we've heard of the MSRP on the tweeners right? So then that means that street price they'll be slightly cheaper than the BK2 and a bit more than the KaBar MK1? Roughly? (i'm trying to figure out how much I need to save :D).

Also, I heard that there would be a slight price hike on the Becker line a while back. Any news on that?

And are we talking beginning of March, or end of March. I can handle waiting, it just helps if I have a ballpark time of when to expect them :).

All of Kabar's line is getting a 4% price increase. Its just a standard of doing business. The new prices include this, along with the BKT shorts. March, is well, March. No time frame other than March has been provided. Making a guess here, I would say mid to late March.

Moose Thanks for all the info. You are a Machine. For every question you bang that answer out. There aren't many that would do that even for their best followers. Mine have all been answered without having to ask again.
 
Thanks for all of the info, Moose. Hopefully I get to see some of the new products at SMKW when I visit later this year. Hope they ship out early enough.
