:).

Thanks for all the info, Moose. All the new stuff looks good. I just have one question, since everything else seems asked already (short of if there are more new secret releases, of course :D )

What's the Combat Kukri sheath look like?

Parker, it was a pleasure. I remembered you, even without the hat reference. I'll tell you what, we met with the company that's gonna be making our hats soon, when we get some in, I'll swap you. :D

Consider it done, hahah Let me know man. :D

Thanks for the info, Moose.

5/32" is exactly the stock thickness I'd have picked for the tweeners. Suhweeet.

the FAQ/DB has some of it, and will have more later too.

Thanks for all of the great info moose. I was planning on picking up a BK2 soon. But now, I think I might wait until the new laser etched ones come out. I love that coating.

Thanks for all the hard work and updates man.... Even though you never came thru with the booth babe pics, lol. Look forward to a great year in cutlery. Were you talking about the proto beckerhead hats we had a thread on a while back being released or just a BKT logo?

I have another question. Well it's already been asked somewhere else, but maybe you'll have an answer.

What happened to Ethan's bag design? Was there anything at SHOT? Any details or plans for a release?

After seeing the Video, I can't wait till the BK15/16/17 hit the market.

Great Designs Mr.Becker. Keep up the good work.

Ok, I was kind of avoiding this one, mostly because we are still in the prototype/beta test phase.

The bag is a courier's style pouch, designed to get away from the tactical bag, and go more "grey man" but still offer the features. E's been carrying this damn murse around since before the show, and he is quite proud if it. And it works. Sort of.

Its going back to have some tweeks done to the overall size, but so far its looking good. I didn't take any pics yet, because, well, its just not done.

These will be sewn in the USA, by a company many of us know and love. Who you might ask? Well, start the guessing, cause I'm not saying until the damn things are done. One of the owners is a redneck though. :D And a good friend.

When will they come out? Who the hell knows. How much will they cost? Who the hell knows. What colors will be available? Who the hell knows. When will we see it? Who the hell.... oh wait, WHEN ITS DONE!!!

Moose

Ah, thanks Moose.

Wait, what's the exact date you said it'll be available? And you did say the buckles with be S30V right? :D

Yeah, S30V buckles and they all come with an embroidered logo of a unicorn farting rainbows.

What is it with you people and your damned S30V buckles? I musta heard that a million times at SHOT.

:D

thanks for all your input, its greatly appreciated:thumbup:

To my knowledge, the BK-16 will have a "full flat grind" is this true?
If so.. are you for a FFG or against it. I understand it's Ethan Beckers knife design, and that the knife is whatever he wants it to be, just curious is to how you feel about it.

Yeah, brother, FFG on the BK16. Its gonna be a real slicer. With the real estate available on the BK2, even with the saber grind, you can still get the edge thin enough. Thin cuts, that the thing. Thin cuts.

With the BK16, the blade is not as high, so, the grind on the edge was a little thicker than Ethan wanted. As far as strength goes, the FFG shouldn't weaken the blade in the slightest. We bent a BK14 to about 50-55 degrees, so, a FFG can be tough.

Wanna see it?
