Should a maker be selling knives while a customer has already paid and is waiting?

......This gentleman has a LOT of disposable income and frankly, despite his excellent taste, is a trusting soul......... it is a household name, front page knifemaker that gave my friend a line of redneck bullshit for almost a decade until it almost came to a legal head.

He paid in advance.

Man, don't matter how much you have experienced, or even what you know, some makers(and some collectors) can spin such a line of bullshit, you might just buy that line....especially if you want to "believe".;)

Best Regards,

I'm starting to get the feeling I'm one of those people who simply 'want' to 'believe' and it's starting to wear really thin in my patience. When you're told "you'll have your blade in hand this Saturday man" and then Sat rolls around and nothing... then another Sat and nothing... then another Sat and nothing... etc, you get the point. Live and learn I suppose. I hope this one has a good outcome and soon. I've seen pics of my blade in various stages of finished... but for one reason or another it never seems to get finished and in my hands. At least not yet...

What a shame. I hope you get your knife soon man.

Hopefully once you'll get it you won't have an emotional stigma attatched to it.
