If you can afford it, then yes, if for nothing else than peace of mind.
I have looked at, read about, and drooled over them for the last 12 years or so, even handled the passaround Large regular for a week or so when it first started around. And recently, I finally got to a place with my mad money to be able to try one out. I bought one off the Exchange and once it got here and I handled it for a while, I had it nailed down. It's not for me, nothing at all wrong with the knife, just design issues that are not my preference. I sold it and did not get hurt too bad.
It is good to finally be able to look at them and know that it is a fine knife, but have no desire. But you will never know until you try, and you will always wonder. I'm glad I bought mine, even though it was not to be.
