I don't have a little point and shoot, other than my cell phone.

I hardly ever take mediocre snapshots, except for family and friends. Also, for professional reasons, it would usually be problematic to publicly show snapshots ... but I'll see what I can do.

Mike please do post the pics... The pics you take are AMAZING. And pics are always onen of the favroit posts of everyone on here. And lets not forget the food posts as well... With a few knives post to keep it on topic.

To me, pics are a very important part of this forum. I'm stuck in a cubible for 8-10 hours a day, luckily I have access to this forum and all the great pics. Knives, gear, and most importantly, outdoor shots can really make a boring day go by a little smoother. So I say, post away.
 
come on brother show and tell how are we supposed to show and learn about the world if you keep them locked up. :D besides it's a great way to motavate some and a way to show other we aren't just talking sh!t we are out there doing it for real:cool: we love good wildlife pics but you better show some good knife porn to or we will find you:grumpy: hahah

I have always enjoyed your photos... Bring it! I am the luckiest man I know, but you camp for a living and another guy I know of apparently makes a living photographing nude young women in dramatic/artistic public locations. I obviously made a poor career choice when I skipped photography class....

You don't need photography classes, for most types of photography work. If you have the talent, you can teach yourself. Almost every one of the photography greats, such as Ansel Adams and Henrî Cartier Bresson, didn't get their educations in photography.

What most photographers (including me) DO need is business education.

If not, do you have any idea what the issue is, so that I can try to correct it? What kind of computer, operating system, browser, etc., are you using?

Unfortunately, facebook limits upload sizes to 604 pixels across the longest dimension, and they also use a high compression rate, with an ugly algorthm, so my pictures look crappy hosted on facebook. And they are a free site. (I prefer to host my pictures on sites where I'm a paid subscriber, so that they have some accountability to provide me good service.)

So – unfortunately, HD, I think I'm going to continue to show most of my pictures hosted by flickr.

Its too bad, because there's more detail in the photobucket pic!

Image shack is viewable for Hollow Dweller and has the same quality as photobucket. Not that I expect you to rehost all your pics..

Evolute. I love your photography and appreciate the work involved in obtaining those photos!
