  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Shouldn't every Friday be "Black Friday"

I didn't even know they had spear blades... I really like it. 🤠

Beautiful “very dark” knives Gary, and you had me Googling again! 😄👍
Thanks, Todd. :) When I was a kid, I loved reading Greek and Roman mythology from a book that I think my maternal grandmother used when she was in school. Even in college, although I was a math and science guy, I managed to make room for a Classical Mythology course. Because of those strange interests, I'm familiar with some of the vocabulary that has been derived from mythology, like "stygian" from the River Styx, the major river in the Greek (I think) underworld.

Your spearpoint Böker Barlow is a Black Beauty (another literary reference from the math geek 🤓)!:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks John. It’s Bog Oak and it’s been a bit of a project. It had blade play, and I fixed that but now it’s not centered. Trying to fix the centering has brought back the blade play! 😄 None of which keeps me from carrying and using it though. 👍
