Shouldn't every Friday be "Black Friday"

I haven't carried a black knife this week, so I'll post a photo of the first black knife I can find in my files of knife photos. It's an AG Russell single blade "one-arm" knife and a classy leather slip that contained it (thanks, John).

Bob, FWIW over the past week or more I've been unable to see about half of the photos you post; I just see a little blue box with a white question mark inside. It's obvious from replies to those same posts that others are having no problem seeing the photos. I'm open to any suggestions anyone has regarding how I can fix my temporary (I hope) "Bob-blindness". (What's especially mysterious to me is that for at least a couple of weeks I had this problem with Dwight's Fodderwing Fodderwing photos, but suddenly I can now see his while some of Bob's have disappeared. o_O :rolleyes:

Thanks for heads up Gary. I don't remember deleting them on hosting site. Beyond that, I'm clueless.

I ordered 10 knives on the 4th of July. I'll post a couple of them here as my Black Friday contribution this week. The new knives are not on my rotation schedule yet, but I've been using some of them at home just to get used to them.

Here's a folding chef's knife, 5.25" closed, 4" cutting edge on the blade, black micarta handle. I think it has already made me a better cook. My only complaint is that I struggle with the lock release, which is true for many of my lockbacks on which the lock release bar is far back on the handle.

I'll probably never own a genuine glitter gold knife, but I now have a silver sparkle knife that's almost as good; kind of reminds me of gazing at the Milky Way Galaxy. 3.5" closed stockman with an extremely slender clip blade and a smooth profile when closed from almost-sunk joints.
