This post sent me on a hunt. I recalled straight razors advertised as "Simmons Hardware Keen Kutter". Interesting to learn that brand included most all types of cutting implements

I really like a black handled knife. Especially buffalo horn and ebony. Sadly the only black handled knife I have is my Sod Buster Jr. SS. I do not carry this much as I like my yellow handled CV or my new Amber Bone Jr. CS.
I wish they made the black handle with the CV or CS steel. But they seem to only put SS on it. Why? I hope to get another black handled knife someday. I would really like to get a Buck 112 with Buffalo Horn. But that will
be a long time away I'm sure.

A "professional" already messed up the blade profile so I went ahead and peened the pin a bit to deal with a tiny bit of wobble that was present. A more pristine copy of the same knife is in the mail, that one will remain unused.
