Love that Alsdorf @2Dead! I would love to get one of his, but, unfortunately, he doesn't ship overseas. I will arrange one to coincide with one of my frequent trips home at some point.

Here is a Laguiole from Fontenille-Pataud in Buffalo horn. Nice work on the liners and spring; I asked Gilles to only chisel the first part of the spine. French-style jimping!

It’s a GEC #35 in ebony. Nice knife. The fourth #35 I have owned and the only one I wanted to hang on to. Sometimes scales are more than just color variations.

OK, it is obvious now. I can see that it is an equal end pattern. At first glance I thought it was a Sleeveboard pattern and might be a 79.
