Shouldn't every Friday be "Black Friday"

My first black slipjoint. Just picked up this 1987 Buck 305 Lancer yesterday. (my only other black knife being my Buck 119).

Is it my imagination or does this knife have a purple tint to it?

Hmmmm... Good eye, I hadn't notice that. That's just a "fone foto" with no color correction applied. I suspect the tint is an artifact of the green foliage and the blue light from the open sky above the shade I was standing in. The skin tone is awfully red, too.

Here's one taken one minute earlier and 15 feet away under a white porch roof.

I was cutting some wild vines that are getting out of control in our yard.

Thanks GT. The little guy doesn't have any wings :(... or clothes :eek:.... Seems happy and content to sit right in the middle of one of our bird baths. :)
