Shouldn't every Friday be "Black Friday"

Thanks, Jack, I've since added the ebony Guardians'. I feel like a Kiwi . . . all blacks!

That's a cool pic, Darren!:cool::thumbsup: When I was in my 20s I wore almost no shoes other than either black or white Chuck Taylors, and I would stock up on them whenever I could buy them for $10 or less per pair. I still have a couple of pairs up in the closet, but never wear them anymore. My feet have apparently spread out and my old size 9.5 Converse All-Stars are really too small (most of my shoes now are 10.5 or 11). And I used to think those shoes were the epitome of comfort, but when I try wearing them now, not only are they too small, but they have almost no padding!

I really don't carry my black Pioneer nearly as much as it deserves. I think I currently have 13 Alox knives in my rotation schedule, so the black Pioneer gets carried for only one week out of every 13. This just happens to be its week, and then I don't get to carry it again until about 3 months from now. :(

Wow that is quite a cycle you have there I guess it is tough to just carry one when you have so many Alox and other cool knives.
Chuck Taylor's are not something I can wear a lot any more, for the reasons you stated, but every now and again for low-mileage situations I can't help myself they are just too classic.
