Kevin, it's a page from a Rand McNally Atlas which probably predates Google. Is that a printed Google mapredsparrow or is your knife on a laptop screen? LoL
I asked one of my millennial co-workers the other day if they had an atlas and they said "... uhhh a what?"

Thanks Gary! The ebony collections, whatever the size, that y'all are posting today are overwhelming (in a very pleasant way)!!

Thanks Jason!I couldn't agree more! WoW!
Wow... Rand McNally even... old school!Kevin, it's a page from a Rand McNally Atlas which probably predates Google.![]()
Your remarks about the millennials remind me of my grandkids when they asked when I was born. After telling them 19-- they were obviously confused, being unable to conceive of someones birth year not starting with a 2. After explaining it to them they asked, "Was anyone born in the 1800s." Thought you might get a kick out of that.Wow... Rand McNally even... old school!I remember when I first got computer savvy in the 90's Rand McNally was my go-to online map source until MapQuest took over the market, then Yahoo and of course now Google.

I definitely got a kick out of that, James! When I was a lad, there was a radio/TV show with a guy named Art Linkletter that had a famous segment called "Kids Say the Darnedest Things" (He also sold books with that title.)Your remarks about the millennials remind me of my grandkids when they asked when I was born. After telling them 19-- they were obviously confused, being unable to conceive of someones birth year not starting with a 2. After explaining it to them they asked, "Was anyone born in the 1800s." Thought you might get a kick out of that.-James

That's yet another very cool (and totally new to me) knife! Thanks for posting it, V_P!!How about a Schrade Walden 182 Florists knife with some weed/crabgrass killer advertisements? That's marketing that makes sense

Thanks hamsco! There's really no method to my madness. I sometimes prefer certain patterns in one cover and other patterns in a different cover. Also, sometimes I'll just stumble upon one accidentally. I was actually looking for a stag 73 when I ran across the Ebony one. The Case/Bose cattle knife really had me indecisive. Then when I happened to have the funds available, I found the Ebony one pre-owned for a decent price. So, Ebony ended up being my choice. Some of them I still second guess my choices.redsparrow Funny !! Youth is waisted on the young.
The Fort Greaft Collection !! Do you pass on frames even though they are ebony/Blackwood ?
A classic knife, and a great picture! Way to start this "Black Friday" off, Gary!
