Hi puukkoman . yes it is Hartkopf and now you come to mention it . it dose look very similar I hadn't notist it before :)

Case Mako, b'day gift from my father-in-law, in need of some serious attention. Can anyone tell this newbie "collector" what to use to clean her up?

I'd hit it with toothpaste and a medium toothbrush, first, then maybe some BRASSO on the bolsters, depending in how shiny you want them, and a bit of lemon oil on the wood. Use a light oil on the blade pivot, for lube.
 
Here are my three big ones - two Queen Mountan Mans (Men?), 1095 and stag, and D2 with bone, and a good old Buck 110 .
