I'm going to go out on a limb and say that anything with jimping falls under the category "pretty" not so much "bad ass".

This is one of my all time favorite "BAD ASS" knives. 10 inches of 3/16 - 154 CM and desert ironwood handles. I know it's not a Busse or Emerson, but I think it is pretty bad ass!
