So many options - I can't really call this group bad ass, because they live on my desk (so they're unproven); but I'm sure they'd live up to the name if they were given the chance.

Bottom to top MBB M21, M10, M4...the blade on the little one (the M21) is just over 11.5 inches

That is a Swamp Rat Ratmandu, it should be right up everyone's alley because its just that good.

Getting a Martin's custom is definately on my grail list now. On the top of it.

Ulf Newt Martin does a first rate job, especially with hollow handles that you can use and use hard. So does Sam Wilson.

I had a Lile sly2 back in the 80s it was a great knife, I'm still pissed that it was stolen from my house in a break in. The Chris Reeves are classics, you can find them often on the 2nd hand market for reasonable prices.

Daaaaaamn!!! I've ordered lots of stuff from Justin and all of it has been first rate! Had an RD7 with cocobolo scales that was gorgeous! Had to sell it to pay for my son's dental work. D'oh!
