Uh, guys? What is this, and where can I get one?

I looked for it after seeing on the Kershaw FB page about these being a Snap-On version, but I only know of the black blade one with regular hollow ground 14C28N blade...what's all this now?

Can anyone help me find one?

It's a franken blur. I believe it was BobSig, swapped the blade of the regular CF version with the green. Only way to get that is to buy both and do the swap.
 
this is def the only version that was officially made by kershaw(i follow green kershaw quite closely) and the toxic green carbon fiber was only actually offered with snap on with dlc coating. i practically had to rape my snap on dealer to get this knife.
 
Really? I guess the picture just looked off to me then... oh pooh. I wonder if Dave has any of those left...
 
all i can say is email him, it really is more beautiful in person than i could ever describe with pictures. i think its my perfect knife

I sent STR a PM seeing if he would do a small batch of these for some of us. Im not very hopeful. BUT, if there were 5-10 people interested he might be able to be swayed. Its jumping the gun a little bit but send me a PM if you might want one just so I can tell him how many people are interested in case he says "maybe."

I have a question. Which Blur models are flat ground? I know the ones with a special steel are, like the CPM-154, S30V, and the SG2, etc. However I see a 1670RD that looks flat ground, but I thought that was the 14C28N.
 
Just going to let you guys know. Someone else made me aware of a website that actually has the 1670BOR in stock. Or the Burnt Orange Blur. I don't know how many were there. But I did confirm with the website that they have at least one in stock. PM me if you want the link. They were not cheap though.

The blade shape is different so looking is easy to tell. All cpm154, s30v, zdp189, and my sandvik is flat ground. Sg2 is hollow.

If it's the one I'm thinking of they've had that for awhile now, no one seems to want to shell out the cash for it.
