There is only one of these. Tom Mayo made it for me 15-20 years ago during my second assignment to Hawaii. He and I "negotiated" the final design. He asked questions then recommended improvements to my drawings. I listened, considered them carefully, then made some adjustments. Even cooler was this occurred on rifle ranges at Schofield Barracks during Schofield Rod and Gun Club recreational shooting.

I'm left handed, so this rides cross draw on right side with forward canted grip. Palm swells in the scales make for a very comfortable grip. Couldn't have been more happy with the results.

Every man should own one custom knife made specifically for him and one custom rifle built specifically for him. Had this built in Virginia on a Steyr M1903 Mannlicher Schoenauer action from 1909 chambered in 6.5X64mm MS. Stock from a maker in Missouri. Barrel is also custom from a Krieger blank.

Here is one I made recently. It's a monster and with a sweet hamon:)

1095 forged-to-shape and Goncalo Alves w/ detail carving.
one of the very few knives I have made with no tapered tang....it really did not need to loose any weight there since it was forged out of .144" thick material.

Enjoy.

man, I wanna go out and chop some stuff but I'm stuck at work :(

A Bunch of locals here had a get together and wanted to play with some choppers. None of us had been involved in the Competition courses in the past so we threw something together (We know it is no where near regulation). Fun was had by all!

I forged out a couple of choppers just for this event and they did well considering I didn't know what I was doing
