Show me your friction folders!!

No sweat!! Was definitely not expecting you to work on the weekend, I sure as hell wouldn't if I had a choice in the matter!! Lol

I wish! The weekends are about the only time I get to make knives! I have a desk job during the week.

I am sorry to hear that, I definitely feel your pain!!

Keep the photos coming guys, it's inevitable now, there is just something charming about the friction folder!!

Donated the second one to someone that needed a knife more then me. The first one is still in use and has gone through some changes.

I have some other plans, but do not have the funds to go through with it. Will post one day when I have finished making it, but it will be a large, great user knife.

nicely done Marthinus!

Very nice!! The blade on the first one looks mean!!

Thanks guys. The warncliff blade is really helpful in the garage and the knife does everything I dont want to use any other knife for, be it an old SAK or a CRK. It was made from a machete so it uses 1055 carbon.

Here are some updated pictures.

I made two slits in the G10 and put some GITD epoxy in there for seeing the knife in the dark

I am considering putting a pocket clip on there, but dont know if I want to use an old M-16 CRKT pocket clip, or rather wait a while till funds allow and put a new one on there.

The other knives posted look awesome and they are real inspirational!

That's seen some use for sure!! Awesome!!

Here's one I just finished up for a customer. He requested a Nesmuck style profile and supplied a drawing of what he had in mind. Blade profile was kept true to the drawing and I made the handle to work with it. This is a big one! A 4" blade at the least.
