show me your leather handles

Complete. Nothing more in the works at the moment although I did recently acquire another lifting belt, so, who knows

Lots of beauty in this thread, thanks for sharing everybody!

Here's one I just finished up tonight. It started with cheesy cracked plastic handles. Now it's nice and stacked

Stacked leather is my latest passion. It goes nicely with my older one: for carbon steel blades. Here is one of the recent projects: when you do not get it in leather, convert it!
First a few pictures "before":

And now after. It is a German "Baron" brand, a monster of a knife by my humble standards:

Here is another one, I have shown it here in another thread earlier. That is fixing a RH 36 knife (it did not have any markings though)
So here are a few pictures "before":

I must say I felt an urge to wash my hands every time after I touched the knife. So all the nice semi-organic "patina" had to go!

And here is one after:

The blade will eventually oxidize so all that traces of pitting corrosion will be less prominent.

I really like what you have done with them poez . nice work

Cool, Ed. I'd not seen a 119 dressed up like that before.

Thanks Frank. It's a new model out from Buck. To be honest, I really don't have a use for it but it's just one of those things I like to have on hand, if for nothing else, the coolness factor.
