Show me your Nessmuk!

I shopped around for a nessmuk pattern for a long while before I became aware of the Busse Hog Muk. Once I saw it, I knew that was the one for me.

I know Nessmuk carried the double bit hatchet for chopping and pounding with (and not his knife) but it makes me smile to think I could do that with this guy no problem.

And here it is living up to its name a bit, getting ready to cut some pork for sausage last winter :)

When I see the Brisa "Bigmuk", I often wonder if George W. Sears would've abandoned his hatchet all together.

...or could've even imagined that the Scandinavians (*Fins) would be producing something like that, based on his design.

I just came across those Brisa Nessmuk blades today, and I’m excited to try one out!
Ive also decided to put my quest to get and remake another izula-muk on hold, and instead get the Boker plus Nessmi pro to be my new edc. (although id probably go for the LT lil muk if I could find one)
Any other suggestions for an edc in that size range?

I mean maybe with a Bigmuk he could leave the hatchet at home? Minimalism at its finest. I'm guessing that he could get behind that 😂

So here's a question: at what point does a "Bigmuk" turn into a Bolo type blade? They seem similar, maybe it's just a question of proportions?

I bought this as an impulse buy, but I really like it.
Small enough to fit it in a pocket sheath.

That is a sweet little knife, I ‘nearly’ pushed the button to order one the other day, but then, because I always want to make/modify everything myself, I decided, “ I’ll just buy some tool steel instead and make my own!
My design is a mix of the nessmi pro, the LT lil muk, and free handing lines that just feel good. some subtle differences but I think it makes a big difference.

Come on!! Do tell about that top one!!! Can't put up a blade that eye poppin and not fill in the blanks!!! PLEASE!!!😉

The top knife I cut down an Ontario Old Hickory 71-6 skinner to a Nessmuk design. Then I put a dyed jute wrapp on it.

The bottom knife was is a Brisa Nesssmuk prototype. I didn't care for the kit scales thickness, so I added an extra layer of liners.

Great job!!! Looks awesome and handy!! Thanks for the info!!! Appreciate it..

The Böker Nessmi is actually cute but I never found big use for it. However, this is a very convincing interpretation of the Nessmuk pattern (the fourth lowest in the picture). It's a workhorse and it did great over time. The others make for more piercing tasks. All by Daado (Dalibor Seckar), all fantastic knives in their own right :
